Welcome to Travelife for tour operators and travel agents, the world's leading training, management and certification programme for sustainability in tourism.

Thanks to our partnership with ETOA, you have the opportunity as an ETOA member to receive a free Travelife Engaged membership. Travelife Engaged is the first stage in the Travelife certification process:

Your free Travelife Engaged membership is valid until December 31^st, 2023 and includes:

access to our 15+ on-demand online trainings for you and your employees, including a final exam and personal certificate;
access to the sustainability standards for the Travelife Partner level;
use of our comprehensive management, action planning, guidance and reporting tools; and
support from the Travelife team regarding technical questions or problems.

You can use your free Travelife Engaged membership and the above-mentioned services of the Travelife platform to educate yourself on the topic of sustainability in tourism and to work independently on your Travelife Partner report.

Please note: The free membership does not include a personal Travelife coach and auditing services. To receive these, you have to become a paying Travelife member.

Terms & Condition for the free Travelife Engaged membership with Travelife for Tour Operators (herein “Travelife”).

1. FREE MEMBERSHIP CONDITIONS

1.1 You have gained a free Travelife Engaged membership with free access to the Travelife online system.

1.2 This free membership is non-binding for both sides and does not involve any costs.

1.3 If not agreed differently, the free membership will end on 31.12.2023. You will be informed about that in due time.

1.4 For the time of the free membership you have full access to all Travelife tools, including e.g. the quick scan, learning platform, planning & reporting and sustainability standards for Travelife Partner.

1.5 You are not allowed to publicly communicate your involvement with Travelife yet.

1.6 The free Travelife Engaged membership does not include services like coaching and auditing.

2. PASSWORD SECURITY

2.1. Access of the member’s section of the Travelife website is through the use of a personal login and password.

2.2. Sharing your unique login name and/or password with organisations or persons outside of your organisation is not permitted.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

3.1. The training materials, tools and guidance provided by Travelife (online and through other means) are the intellectual property of Travelife.

3.2. You agree not to use these materials for purposes outside of your organisation without the permission of Travelife. Materials published on any media or platforms must refer to the Travelife name and logo.

4. USE OF THE MEMBERS SECTION

4.1. By using the member’s section, you agree and warrant that you shall not submit, publish, or display on the website any material that might be offending, objectionable or unlawful.

4.2. You agree not to post any materials that violate or infringe upon the copyright, trademark, rights of publicity, privacy rights nor other rights of any person while connected to or otherwise directly or indirectly using our website.

5. DATA SECURITY AND PRIVACY

5.1. As a free Travelife Engaged member you agree to receive regular updates and newsletters from Travelife via email.

5.2. Travelife will guarantee to respect the confidentiality of all company specific data shared with Travelife online or otherwise. These data will not be shared with third parties without your prior agreement save the following exceptions:

General membership data (contact details, Travelife status) are accessible to your travel association in case your association has signed a partnership agreement with Travelife.
The data of individual staff members of a specific member are accessible to the sustainability coordinator (main contact person for Travelife) of that member.
The data of a student are accessible to its educational institute in case the institute is a partner of Travelife.

6. LIABILITY

You and anyone claiming on your behalf releases and forever discharges Travelife and its affiliates, successors and assigns, officers, employees, representatives, partners, agents and anyone claiming through them (collectively, the “Travelife Parties”), in their individual and/or corporate capacities from any and all claims, liabilities, obligations, promises, agreements, disputes, demands, damages, causes of action of any nature and kind, known or unknown, which you have or ever had or may in the future have against Travelife or any of the Travelife Parties arising out of or relating to this agreement and related services.

7. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement contains the entire agreement between the member and Travelife regarding members' use of our website, and all materials, directly and indirectly, related to it. This Agreement supersedes all prior written and verbal understandings, writings, and representations and may only be amended after mutual and written agreement with Travelife.

You acknowledge and agree that the terms and conditions of this Agreement can be subject to change by Travelife at any time and shall be effective after having been posted on our website. Should material changes arise, you will be requested to resign the terms and conditions. Such changes will be put into effect for existing members in the next calendar year unless communicated otherwise.
