Time to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the SUSTOUR project and its participants in implementing sustainability!
On 13 - 14 September 2023, the Final SUSTOUR Event took place in Cascais, Portugal, which marked the finale of the 3-year EU-COSME funded project aimed at propelling sustainable practices to the forefront of the European tourism industry. Here are some highlights:

The 2-day programme included 5 theme sessions that showcased 24 success stories of SUSTOUR participants in the fields of carbon footprint and single-use plastic reduction, sustainable excursion management, supply chain management and sustainability marketing & communication.
Each of the 5 theme sessions included an expert keynote, company best practices and a panel discussion. Finally, the 2-day event conlcuded with the prestigious Travelife Award Ceremony honoring the outstanding sustainability efforts of the SUSTOUR participants.
