Who can join?
Travelife for Tour Operators is designed for tour operators and other travel companies involved in the organisation, sale and delivery of travel experiences, including travel agencies, online travel agencies (OTAs), excursion and activity providers and other tourism businesses.
Travelife is a global programme and is open to companies of different sizes and business models.
When joining Travelife, each company appoints a Sustainability Coordinator to lead and coordinate the implementation of the Travelife programme. The Sustainability Coordinator receives access to the Travelife online platform, training, criteria, management and supply-chain tools and practical implementation guidance.
Additional staff members can be registered for the Travelife training programme at no additional cost, allowing sustainability knowledge and responsibilities to be developed across different departments and functions.
Each member is supported by a dedicated Travelife coach who guides the company through the preparation and implementation process, helps it understand the requirements and use the available tools, and prepares it for independent assessment. Wherever possible, this support is provided in the company’s preferred language.
