Travelife for Tour Operators is specifically developed for tour operators and other travel companies. However, the knowledge, training and practical tools developed within the programme can also be valuable to other organisations and individuals involved in tourism.
Travelife therefore makes selected training, tools and expertise available to educational institutions, students, destinations and other tourism stakeholders. This supports wider knowledge development, capacity building and cooperation on sustainability within the tourism sector.
Educational institutions
Universities, colleges and other educational institutions can integrate Travelife training and practical tools into their tourism and sustainability programmes.
Institutions can register and manage groups of students, provide access to Travelife online training and examinations, and use selected Travelife management, action-planning and reporting tools as part of their teaching. This allows students to combine academic learning with practical sustainability approaches and tools used by travel companies.
