Action planning and monitoring
The Travelife Action Planning Tool helps companies turn sustainability objectives into concrete and manageable actions. The online tool supports planning by defining what needs to be done, who is responsible and when actions should be completed.
Companies can formulate objectives, select relevant actions, assign responsibilities and establish timelines. The resulting action plan provides a clear overview of planned sustainability measures and can be downloaded as a PDF.
The tool includes more than 200 suggested measures from which companies can select those most relevant to their business activities, sustainability priorities and types of suppliers. Measures are grouped under themes including:
- internal office management;
- supply-chain management, including accommodation, transport, activities and guides;
- destinations;
- customer communication.
The measures are suitable for companies of different sizes and business models and draw on practical experience within the tourism sector. To support implementation and provide inspiration, the tool includes concrete examples of how other tourism companies have implemented similar actions and measures.
